Karabo Rajuili, South Africa, serves on the media freedom and access to information focus groups of the Right2Know campaign, a public advocacy campaign for information rights and media freedom in South Africa. Right2Know has been at the forefront of the challenge against the proposed Secrecy Bill, which threatened free flows of information in South Africa. More recent R2K campaigns have included a focus on internet censorship legislation and defending journalists at the South African Broadcasting Cooperation (SABC). In her full-time capacity, Karabo is the advocacy coordinator at the amaBhungane Centre for Investigative Journalism (amaBhungane), a leading investigative centre in South Africa. She also the South Africa Chair of the WAN-IFRA Media Freedom Committee.
