Executive Director
Renán Estenssoro is journalist and videomaker. He studied a degree in Social Communication at the Universidad Anahuac in Mexico. He began his career at the newspaper Presencia and has been National News Director of ATB Network, General Manager of Empresa Nacional de Television Boliviana and now is the executive director of the Fundación para el Periodismo. He is former president of the Association of Journalists of La Paz and the national coordinator of International Public Television (INPUT). He was teacher at the University Juan Misael Saracho of Tarija and has given lectures on journalism and freedom of expression in various events, such the Global Media Forum. He is a scriptwriter and director of short features films "24 hours of our lives" and "Johnny", that was awarded by the Cineteca of Uruguay. He has written the books "History of the Red Cross in Bolivia" and "The causes of disengagement in the Constituent Assembly."
