Sophie Busson is Advocacy Advisor for Reporters Without Borders (RSF). Sophie is a lawyer and expert in international law and human rights. Holding a LLM in International Law from Fordham University, she has previously worked with the United Nations in Mali and with the French Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Development. She is also co-founder of the United Nations Committee on Women in France. Reporters Without Borders is a press freedom organization with almost 30 years of experience. It has a unique global network of 130 local correspondents investigating in 130 countries, 12 national offices (Austria, Belgium, Brazil, Finland, France, Germany, Italy, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, Tunisia, USA) and has a consultative status at the United Nations.
